A full-time/part-time Teaching Assistant is required to work in the classroom and provide 1:1 support outside the classroom as necessary. Experience of working with children with ASD and/or SEMH difficulties is desirable; enthusiasm, flexibility and resilience are essential.
Our ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and confident team player who is able to demonstrate previous success in working with children. You should also be able to evidence using your own initiative to support successful learning. You will demonstrate a positive and relational approach to behaviour support and a calm and friendly manner.
A full, clean driving licence is essential as there will be the requirement to support students at off-site placements. Applicants will ideally have at least GCSE Maths and English grade C or equivalent.
