Ripplevale School is a successful Independent Special School for pupils aged between 6-18. We provide a nurturing and caring environment for pupils with ASD. We are looking for a qualified teacher, preferably with a qualification in Catering or Food Technology, who is committed, enthusiastic and understanding of our students to join a very successful and established team.

You should have experience of teaching to Key Stage 3, 4 and, ideally, 5 but if you have a genuine passion for cooking or have hospitality experience with QTS and feel you can make a difference to students with ASD, learning in small class sizes, then this role is for you. Whilst prior experience of working in an SEN setting is desired, it is not essential.

  • Have an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, and the successful candidate, as per KCSIE, will also be subjected to an online search. This is also considered for all shortlisted candidates.

  • Participate in all Safeguarding training as required by the school.
