Fleetdown Primary Academy is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join our talented and supportive team! If you are passionate about supporting children to reach their full potential and want to work in a school striving to provide the very best opportunities for our children, we could be the school for you.

This role is for 32.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday 8.30am-3.30pm, 38 weeks per year, term time only. The full-time salary for this is currently paid at KSA, £24,513, pro-rata to an actual annual salary of £18,287.90. Fixed term contract until 31 August 2027.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • able to contribute to, and work as part of a team
  • ideally has experience working with children with learning difficulties or delivering interventions
  • passionate about enabling every child to fulfil their potential
  • hold a TA qualification with GCSEs in English & Maths A-C or equivalent
  • committed to high expectations of children's learning and behaviour
  • excellent communication and personal skills and a flexible attitude.
