We are looking for a cleaner to join our team working 12.5 hours a week. The hours are 3.15pm-5.45pm, 5 days a week (term time only). We pride ourselves in the learning environment we provide our children and the role of a successful cleaner is key to this.

Purpose of the Job: To undertake cleaning duties to maintain a high standard of cleanliness within the school, as directed.

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Undertake cleaning of allocated areas in line with specified standards and as directed.
  • Store allocated equipment and materials safely and securely.
  • Perform duties in line with health and safety regulations (COSHH) and take action where hazards are identified, report serious hazards to line manager immediately.
  • Collect and dispose of waste.
  • Refill and replace soap, towels and other materials.
  • Notify the Line Manager or other senior member of staff, of any damage to buildings and equipment or anything that may be dangerous to pupils and/or adults.
