Barham Church of England Primary School is seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and reliable

Wraparound Play Assistant to join our friendly Kingfisher Breakfast and After School Club.

Kingfisher Club provides a safe, welcoming and enjoyable environment where children can begin and end their school day with exciting activities, creative play and positive relationships.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with primary-aged children and who will help create an environment where every child feels happy, valued and included.

The successful candidate will

  • Build positive relationships with children and families.
  • Support a wide range of indoor and outdoor play activities.
  • Help prepare and serve healthy breakfasts and after-school snacks.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and independence.
  • Work as part of a supportive and enthusiastic team.
  • Help create a calm, safe and nurturing environment.
  • Follow safeguarding and health and safety procedures at all times.
