We are ideally seeking a full-time, all-year-round practitioner, though term-time positions may be considered for the right candidate. New House Nursery School is seeking a caring, creative and experienced Early Years Practitioner to join our vibrant and passionate team. Nestled in a beautiful Edwardian house in Canterbury, we pride ourselves on offering a warm, nurturing environment where children aged 2 to 5 can thrive – and where staff feel truly valued.
We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic, reflective and genuinely committed to delivering exceptional early years education. You’ll be a qualified (Level 3 or higher) practitioner with at least one year of post-qualifying experience, a solid understanding of the EYFS framework, and confidence as a Key Person. A strong grasp of written English and an ability to work collaboratively are also essential. We’re open to considering the right candidate even if they don’t currently hold a Level 3 qualification, as long as they’re willing to complete the training while in the role.
