BROOK COMMUNITY PRIMARY SCHOOL – A SMALL SCHOOL ON A BIG ADVENTURE – IS LOOKING FOR AN EARLY YEARS TEACHER TO JOIN OUR WONDERFUL, DEDICATED TEAM. We are looking for a brilliant teacher to teach our Reception class from the start of Term 2 (2nd November 2026). This is a part‑time (3 days), job‑share, temporary position until July 2027 for parental leave cover.

The ideal applicant will have experience of teaching Early Years and be passionate about providing an inclusive, nurturing and ambitious curriculum so all our pupils flourish, both academically and personally. The ideal applicant should have a good understanding of child development, particularly in Early Years, and of how children learn, and be able to enthuse, engage and challenge children in their learning journey.

You must be prepared to work both indoors and outdoors to support learners in a range of environments as we make use of our beautiful surroundings. You must be able to meet the needs of all our learners and work as part of a team in a job‑share.

This information will be kept on file for 6 months, in line with data protection procedures. The panel will ensure we meet our duty under the Equality Act, 2010.
