We are looking for a warm, reliable and enthusiastic Breakfast Club Playworker to join our friendly school community at St Peter-in-Thanet Junior School. This is a lovely role for someone who enjoys working with children and helping them start their day in a calm, happy and positive way.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7.30am – 9.00am (term time)
The role will include:
- Welcoming children into Breakfast Club
- Helping children settle in and feel safe and comfortable
- Supporting breakfast time and light play activities
- Providing care and supervision before the school day begins
- Creating a relaxed, friendly environment to start the day well
We are looking for someone who:
- Is kind, patient and approachable
- Enjoys working with children
- Is dependable and punctual for early mornings
- Can work well as part of a small, friendly team
- Experience with children is helpful, but not essential
