We’re looking for someone who’s calm and warm, firm and fair, and ultimately, someone who will be a champion for our children. As a Teaching Assistant at Bethersden Primary School, you will primarily be supporting our children with SEND. This means developing strong working relationships, using a range of strategies to support learning, and working closely with our SENDCO and TA team, to ensure the best outcomes for all of our children. Ideally we are looking for a candidate to work in Key Stage 2, however experience of this specific phase is not essential.

Hours are 8:00-3:30 Monday and 8:30-3:30, Tuesday-Friday. On Monday there is a slightly earlier start time to allow for a weekly staff briefing. This role also includes lunchtime supervision. The contract is fixed term, until August 2027.
