Phoenix Community Primary School is looking for a Teaching Assistant for our Year 1 class.
You will assist in the delivery of engaging and innovative teaching within the classroom, on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
This is a fixed term position until 31 st
August 2027 (with the potential of the post becoming permanent in the future).
- Hours or work: 30 hours per week - Term Time Only 8.30am – 3.15 pm
- Monday to Friday
(including a 30 minute unpaid lunch break).

Experience in working within KS1 would be desirable but not essential however a willingness to learn is.
The successful candidate would need to demonstrate strong English and Maths skills in order to assist the teacher in delivering lessons and to enable the children to reach their full potential.
