Are you reliable, flexible and enthusiastic and able to work well, both as part of a team or independently? Would you like to join our team by providing invigilation for both internal pre-public examinations (PPEs) and external examinations throughout the academic year?
Invigilators have a key role in upholding the integrity and security of the external examination and assessment process and are a vital part of the Exams Office team. You will use your confident and reassuring presence in exam rooms, be able to give instructions and manage evolving situations. Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is a keen sense of attention to detail, basic IT skills and most importantly the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Previous experience is not required as full training will be provided, however, experience of working with young adults would be an advantage. Successful applicants will be readily available during the main external examination/PPE periods of April-June, November, January-March.
