1:1 Teaching Assistant - Full-time/Part-time

An opportunity has arisen to join our wonderful team at St Margaret\'s Junior School to support a child with SocialEmotional and Mental Health needs. The role will involve ensuring that the child can access the curriculum and implementing interventions for the child as outlined in their EHCP and personalised plans.

Enthusiastic and committed

Have the ability to work as part of a team whilst also being able to work independently.

Have knowledge of the KS1 and 2 English and Maths curriculum

Have experience of running 1:1 and/or small group interventions

Recent experience of working with children with SEMH needs.

Has an understanding of the SEND Code of Practice

The working hours will be 30 hours a week, from 8:30am - 3:30pm daily.

This role is a fixed term role, which will reviewed annually depending on funding.

It is situated in Rainham, Kent, close to the town centre in the midst of an established and thriving community. The school is one of the largest Junior schools in Kent and is over subscribed each year.
