Overview
Surgical Services Group at SWB NHS Trust is recruiting for a full-time Band 6 position on A8, our Colorectal/Gen Surgical ward. We pride ourselves on delivering high standards of patient care and experience and are looking for a dynamic individual with experience at Band 5/6 level in a surgical environment to join our team. This is an exciting time following our move to Midland Metropolitan University Hospital.
To work as part of the A8 team to provide a safe, effective, efficient care environment for patients, relatives and their carers.
Responsibilities
- Lead your own zone in respect of patient safety and professional standards, acting as a professional role model to junior staff.
- Line manage a team of staff and complete management duties; be responsible for the effective running and utilisation of the Ward.
- Ensure delivery of high quality care and a positive patient experience within a surgical environment.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience at Band 5/6 level in a surgical setting.
- Excellent leadership skills and a commitment to delivering high quality care.
- Prepared to take on a challenge and contribute to a dynamic team.
