It is an ongoing commitment to delivering better outcomes for residents, stronger services and a more sustainable future for the borough. This is a great opportunity to join our Corporate Transformation Office as Head of Transformation Delivery and help lead the next phase of that journey. We're looking for an ambitious and forward-thinking leader who can turn strategic vision into meaningful organisational change.

With significant influence across the Council, you'll lead high-profile transformation programmes that improve services, drive innovation and deliver lasting benefits for residents and communities. Working at the heart of the organisation, you'll be responsible for translating corporate priorities into deliverable programmes and ensuring that transformational ambitions become tangible outcomes.

You'll lead a diverse portfolio of complex change initiatives, overseeing programme design, mobilisation and delivery while ensuring robust governance, effective stakeholder engagement and a relentless focus on benefits realisation. A key part of the role will involve partnering with Corporate Directors, Members and senior leaders to identify opportunities for improvement, shape future operating models and develop innovative solutions to organisational challenges.

You'll provide leadership across multiple workstreams, bringing together services, stakeholders and delivery teams to achieve shared goals and maintain momentum through periods of significant change. As Head of Transformation Delivery, you'll champion excellence in programme and change management, establishing consistent delivery approaches and ensuring that transformation activity is underpinned by strong planning, risk management and performance monitoring.

You'll also play a critical role in developing organisational capability, coaching leaders and supporting teams to adopt new ways of working that create sustainable improvement. This role requires both strategic vision and practical delivery expertise. You'll be equally comfortable shaping long-term transformation priorities as you are resolving barriers to programme delivery, managing competing demands and ensuring benefits are realised.

Your ability to influence, build consensus and inspire confidence will be essential in helping the organisation navigate complex change successfully. We're seeking an experienced transformation leader with a proven track record of delivering large-scale organisational change within complex environments. You'll bring expertise in programme leadership, organisational improvement and stakeholder management, alongside the ability to foster collaboration and create alignment around a shared vision. If you're ready to lead programmes that deliver lasting impact and transform how services are delivered, we'd love to hear from you.
