We are seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor with strong literacy and numeracy skills and a professional approach to work under the guidance of teaching staff, to support pupils in and out of the classroom, including the supervision of whole classes during the short‑term absence of teachers. In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to undertake administrative duties and support breakfast, break and lunchtime duties in school.

Qualifications:

  • GCSE Maths and GCSE English (Level 4 and above)
  • Appropriate level 3 qualification
  • Confident and competent in using day‑to‑day IT
  • Experience of working in a school environment
  • Confident in delivering prepared lessons
  • Ability to motivate pupils and a desire to make a positive contribution to their education
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviour in line with the school behaviour policy
  • Commitment to the ethos of the school
