The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Taxi Licensing Team. We are looking for a customer focused individual, with excellent communication skills and a desire to make a difference.
Role Responsibilities
- The team works on a rota basis and maintains direct access with our customers through booked appointments in the Council’s One Stop Shop each day as well as answering a dedicated phone line.
- You will assist in the processing of applications for driver, vehicle and operator licences in line with the Council’s Private Hire and Hackney Carriage Licensing Policy.
- Give advice and guidance on licensing matters both on the phone and in person.
- Give evidence in court in person as and when required.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years experience of dealing with the general public in a front line capacity.
- Experience of working in a high pressured and busy environment.
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Experience of data inputting and handling customer payment transactions.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
