We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced LSP3 to join our team for someone who genuinely shares our passion for inclusion. You will become part of a dedicated teaching and support team with high aspirations for meeting the needs of our diverse learners. Responsibilities
- Delivering high-quality phonics sessions (we use Little Wandle)
- Supporting learning and achievement for vulnerable groups within Early Years
- Providing targeted interventions and in‑class support
Qualifications
- Relevant NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent)
- Proven, paid experience working within a primary school setting as part of a Learning Support team
- Experience in delivering high-quality phonics sessions
- A child‑centred, flexible and professional approach
- Appropriately literate and numerate, with a strong understanding of how to support early learning effectively
Desirable Skills and Training
- First Aid training
- Little Wandle phonics training
- Food Hygiene
- Forest School Leader qualification (advantageous)
- Experience of working within urban settings such as Sandwell will also be beneficial.
Salary
Band D, SCP 9-17 £27,254-£31,022 pro rata (£14.13-£16.08 per hour) (actual £21,085 - £24,104 per annum)
