About The Role
Practitioners at Sandwell Residential Education Service use their personality, qualifications, experience and facilitation skills to help children, young people and adults to lead happier and more successful lives. We are looking for an inspirational person to help deliver high-quality outdoor learning programmes at Edgmond Hall; a beautiful residential learning centre near Newport in Shropshire.
Your Experience
With one year's experience working with children and young people, this role is ideally suited to somebody with Primary teaching experience, or a Girlguiding / Scout Leader (or similar) as well as experienced Outdoor Instructors. You'll also understand the benefits of short-stay residential education.
Your Skills / Qualifications
You will have at least one of the following:
- L3 Forest School Leader
- IOL Bushcraft Competency
- Unqualified Primary Teacher
- Archery GB Instructor Award
- Lowland Leader Award
- Accredited Practitioner IOL
- Or similar / equivalent recognised awards in line with centre needs
