Sandwell Council's Income and Money Advice Service is recruiting to the post of Accounts Officer to support its Home Ownership Service (Right to Buy and Leasehold).

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Home Ownership Service to process Right to Buy applications, anti-money laundering forms, leasehold arrears and leasehold management.
  • Ensure our customers and partners receive a highly professional service, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and continuous performance.

Qualifications

  • Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics.
  • Flexibility, reliability and ability to work in an office environment.
  • Knowledge in Right to Buy and Leasehold Legislation.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft software, in particular Excel spreadsheets.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Be organised, and meet strict deadlines.
  • Experience of electronic management systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Working Pattern

Based at Oldbury Council House, hybrid working, with at least 3 days per week in the office.
