Description

The Trust is looking to appoint a Full-time Leisure Attendant/Relief Duty Manager at Tipton Leisure Centre to offer frontline service and support the Centre team.

The role of Leisure Attendant is crucial, requiring drive, enthusiasm, and excellent attention to detail. With customer safety and experience at the forefront, you will need to be flexible and organized, supervising customers using the pools and providing excellent customer service.

You will supervise customers using the swimming pools, handle customer inquiries, and complete records. Experience working with the public is beneficial.

You will ensure a clean and safe environment, maintaining health, safety, and welfare standards. You will work independently and with the team to prepare the building for daily activities.

Candidates must hold RLSS (UK) National Pool Lifeguard Award/STA Pool Lifeguard Award or equivalent and have basic knowledge of relevant Health and Safety regulations, including C.O.S.H.H and Manual Handling, with training provided. Basic knowledge of the Quest quality management scheme is desirable.

This role offers development opportunities for Leisure Attendants wishing to progress to a Duty Manager role by gaining experience as a Relief Duty Manager, covering shifts as required and paid at the Relief Duty Manager rate.
