This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Taxi Licensing Team. We are looking for a customer focused individual, with excellent communication skills and a desire to make a difference. The team work on a rota basis and maintain direct access with our customers through booked appointments in the Council's One Stop Shop each day as well as answering a dedicated phone line.
You will assist in the processing of applications for driver, vehicle and operator licences in line with the Council's Private Hire and Hackney Carriage Licensing Policy, give advice and guidance on licensing matters both on the phone and in person and give evidence in court in person as and when required.
Qualifications- A minimum of 3 years experience of dealing with the general public in a front line capacity
- Experience of working in a high pressured and busy environment
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience of data inputting and handling customer payment transactions
- Good written and verbal communication skills
