Overview
You will be expected to work as part of a team to monitor and operate all systems within the Control Room in an efficient, proactive and reactive manner. Systems to include CCTV and door-entry control and intercom communications. You will gather evidence of breaches of tenancy, anti-social behaviour and acts of a criminal nature. You will communicate with and assist residents, members of the public and all partners as required.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and operate all systems within the Control Room, including CCTV, door entry systems and intercoms using the relevant operating procedures, Legislation and Codes of Practice.
- To liaise, exchange intelligence and actively promote partnerships with the Police, Sandwell Environmental Protection Officers, SMBC Officers and other Enforcement Agencies to ensure the appropriate and targeted use of all systems.
- To provide an efficient, appropriate and courteous radio, intercom and telephone answering service and deal efficiently with all enquiries as they are received to a satisfactory conclusion.
Qualifications
- A Level 2 certificate for CCTV Operatives is required for this post.
Hours
Hours: 4 on 4 off shift pattern, 29.5 hours per week.
