Description
Join our Level 3 Engineering Technician Apprenticeship Standard and gain the skills, knowledge, and qualifications to thrive in the industry! This is a full-time, permanent role that will provide valuable experience and a strong foundation for your future career.
Key Responsibilities
- Work alongside experienced engineers to develop practical skills.
- Gain experience in areas such as mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing engineering.
- Assist with the maintenance, repair, and installation of engineering systems.
- Learn to use industry-standard tools and equipment.
- Complete on-the-job training and attend college to work towards a Level 3 Engineering qualification.
- Provide full technical support to the Engineering team and facilitate the learning and development of students.
- Prepare materials as directed by tutors and check tools and equipment for safe working conditions.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy workshop and assist with stock management.
- Assist in administrative procedures, including enrolment processes.
- Ensure effective communication with management, staff, students, and clients.
- Undertake in-service training and work towards a Level 3 apprenticeship standard.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals with a passion for engineering and problem-solving to join our apprenticeship programme. If you have GCSEs at Grade 4/C or above in Maths, English, and Science, enjoy hands-on, practical work, and are eager to learn, we’d love to hear from you. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential, along with a commitment to completing the programme.
