About the Employer: Dedicated to providing a range of culturally responsive services for people of African and Caribbean descent who are affected by mental ill health, and the wider community promoting sustainable recovery and wellbeing.
What You’ll Do:
- Make travel and hotel arrangements for other staff members
- Assist with the planning and organisation of conferences, workshops, seminars, and other events
- Take notes at meetings, prepare the minutes, and subsequently distribute them to all participants
- Liaise with other members of staff and external parties such as primary and secondary stakeholders
- Assist with preparing expense reports
- Prepare meeting rooms for board and other business meetings
- Prepare refreshments for meetings
- Book venues for team training and planning events
- Book guests and other stakeholders for events, meetings (e.g., Mayor, Council Leader)
- Set up and maintain a filing system
- Take part in meetings, team & management reviews, strategic development days, internal and external quality audits, and other meetings
- Participate in training and career development opportunities relevant to the post to hone existing skills and broaden knowledge and awareness
- Participate fully in regular supervision and support sessions and annual appraisal meetings
Training outcome: Long term career options with future career development on successful completion of the apprenticeship training.
