The Warehouse Operative will be responsible for the checking off/put away of parts within the Goods In function as well as accurate picking and packing of parts. You will contribute to departmental OKR's by accurately checking off and putting away parts into location, while also ensuring a high level of accuracy when picking and packing in a timely manner for customer orders. As a Warehouse Operative, you will be aware of the onsite Health and Safety rules and procedures and will report all EHS hazards & incidents. You will also be responsible for reporting any quality issues at the earliest point within the process.
When needed you may be required to help in other functions within the wider logistics team and will report directly to the Warehouse Manager.
Essential Criteria- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Good organisational skills
- Capable of working on own initiative
- Trained and experienced on safe operation forklifts, pallet trucks and other warehouse equipment
- Experience using Barcodes/ handheld scanners devices
- Experience using an ERP system
- Experience in cycle counting/stock checking
