Responsibilities:
As a Field Sales Engineer you will develop the sales and profitability within a designated geographical area. Through both direct and distribution partner channels, you will be prospecting, making sales calls, product training, customer support/analysis, and process/product recommendations. Documented cost reductions and CRM administration are amongst the duties that will be required in this role. By implementing innovative machining techniques, cutting strategies or by refining current methods and procedures, you will in partnership drive and support our customers' continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
With a solid understanding of manufacturing processes and cutting tool applications, you bring strong experience in indexable milling and a metal cutting background. Ideally, you’ll have worked with 5-axis machine centres and be familiar with machining aerospace materials. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is essential. You are a confident and articulate communicator, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to present clearly to internal and external audiences. An active listener who builds strong relationships, you thrive in collaborative environments and contribute effectively as part of a team. You are a self-motivated and results-driven individual with strong time management skills and a proactive approach to personal development. With an analytical mindset, you’re able to plan effectively and execute tasks with precision, contributing to the success of both individual and team objectives. Persuasiveness combined with strong interpersonal abilities, inventiveness, creativity, and teamwork are all essential. HNC or HND in production/mechanical engineering and a full and clean driving license.
