Seco Tools UK is looking for a Strategic Account Manager to join our dynamic and supportive Sales Team. About the Role
As a Strategic Account Manager, you’ll be the face of Seco Tools within your territory, managing accounts and delivering technical solutions that create real value for customers. You’ll work closely with colleagues across Sales, Application Engineering, and Product teams to grow business and ensure an outstanding customer experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and growing sales of products and application services within your assigned geographic territory.
- Identifying customer needs and recommending tailored tooling and digital solutions.
- Proactively pursuing sales leads and converting opportunities into profitable business.
- Providing technical advice, troubleshooting, and post-sales support.
- Delivering training and guidance to customers on our digital products and services.
- Planning and prioritising your own activities to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
- Gathering and sharing market intelligence to support product and sales strategy.
- Using CRM and digital tools to manage accounts, opportunities, and reporting accurately.
This is a field-based role with regular customer visits and occasional overnight travel for meetings, training, and sales activities.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- A confident communicator with strong influencing and relationship-building skills.
- Commercially minded with a consultative sales approach.
- Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable working independently.
- Analytical and solution-focused with strong troubleshooting ability.
- A team player who collaborates effectively across functions.
- Experienced in industrial or technical sales, ideally within metal cutting or manufacturing.
- Knowledgeable in CRM systems and digital sales tools.
- In possession of a full driving licence.
