Led by our Home Manager, Amanda—who began her journey with us as a Care Assistant in 2008—you’ll be part of a supportive and passionate team committed to helping every colleague grow and thrive.
What will you do as a Night Care Practitioner?
- Personalised night-time care: Assisting residents with personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility needs.
- Regular monitoring: Conducting checks throughout the night and responding calmly to any concerns.
- Creating a restful environment: Supporting evening routines, promoting relaxation, and helping residents start the day comfortably.
- Emotional support: Offering reassurance, warmth, and companionship to residents who may feel unsettled.
- Maintaining standards: Ensuring the home remains clean, safe, and secure overnight.
- Accurate record-keeping: Documenting observations and incidents for smooth handovers to day staff.
- Team coordination: Working closely with your colleagues to deliver consistent, high-quality care.
