Hourly Rate: £12.76 per hour

Shifts: 8pm-8am

Contracted Hours: 38.5 hours per week working on 3 on 3 off rota OR 33 hours per week working on a flexible rota, no set shifts

Led by our Home Manager, Amanda—who began her journey with us as a Care Assistant in 2008—you’ll be part of a supportive and passionate team committed to helping every colleague grow and thrive.

What will you do as a Night Care Practitioner?

  • Personalised night-time care: Assisting residents with personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility needs.
  • Regular monitoring: Conducting checks throughout the night and responding calmly to any concerns.
  • Creating a restful environment: Supporting evening routines, promoting relaxation, and helping residents start the day comfortably.
  • Emotional support: Offering reassurance, warmth, and companionship to residents who may feel unsettled.
  • Maintaining standards: Ensuring the home remains clean, safe, and secure overnight.
  • Accurate record-keeping: Documenting observations and incidents for smooth handovers to day staff.
  • Team coordination: Working closely with your colleagues to deliver consistent, high-quality care.
