Part Time Care Practitioner Mornings. Longridge Hall Care Home
£12.38 per hour
8am-2pm Shifts
19.25 hours per week
At Longridge Hall, we are more than just a care home—we are a community. Our residents enjoy a warm and welcoming environment, complete with unique features like a reminiscence lounge, chapel, and indoor sensory garden. Our dedicated Care Home Manager, Tracey, has been with us for over 10 years, ensuring that Longridge Hall is a wonderful place to live and work.
We are looking for caring and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team and help provide high-quality, person-centred care to our residents. If you have a passion for helping others and want to make a difference in people’s lives, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Provide compassionate and respectful care to residents, assisting with personal care, mobility, and daily living activities.
Support residents in maintaining independence and dignity while ensuring their safety and comfort.
Help residents with meals and hydration, encouraging good nutrition.
Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of care provided.
Work as part of a team to create a positive and nurturing environment.
Assist with social activities and engagement to promote mental well-being.

*Overtime is paid for working over full time hours. However, overtime enhancement will not feature on your contract of employment and can be withdrawn at any time as managers decision is final. Free meals are given if working over an 8 hour shift and are subject to terms and conditions. Discounts are accessed using our ‘Reward Me’ app. Flexible pay is available via ‘WAGESTREAM’.
