At Ribble Court Care Home, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our home is safe, secure, and well-maintained for residents, staff, and visitors. From property repairs and equipment maintenance to keeping our gardens and external spaces in top condition, your expertise will help us provide a welcoming and functional environment.

As a Maintenance Operative, your duties will include:

Property Maintenance: Performing routine and emergency maintenance, including minor repairs, decoration, and basic plumbing.

Safety Checks: Conducting regular inspections of fire alarms, boilers, lifts, and other systems, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Groundskeeping: Maintaining gardens, car parks, and other outdoor areas to a high standard.

Stock Management: Ordering and managing tools and supplies efficiently.

Team Collaboration: Supporting the induction of new staff with training on building layout and fire safety procedures.

Documentation: Accurately recording all safety checks and maintenance activities.

Experience: A strong background in property maintenance, including basic plumbing skills.

Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues effectively and efficiently.

Attention to Detail: A keen eye for maintaining high standards across all areas.
