Hourly Rate: £12.26 per hour

Shifts: 3 to 4 nights per week, 8pm-8am

Contracted Hours: 38.5 hours per week

Our 94-bedded residential home for older adults is a vibrant and caring community, recently rated ‘Good’ by the CQC in all areas. What will you do as a Night Care Assistant?

  • Providing personal care and assistance: Helping residents with hygiene, dressing, and mobility needs during the night.
  • Monitoring and responding to needs: Conducting regular checks, addressing any nighttime concerns, and supporting residents with dignity and respect.
  • Encouraging restful sleep: Creating a calm and comfortable environment while assisting with evening and early morning routines.
  • Supporting emotional wellbeing: Offering reassurance and companionship to residents who may feel unsettled during the night.
  • Maintaining high standards: Ensuring cleanliness and safety across the care home during your shift.
  • Recording and reporting: Documenting observations and any incidents clearly for day staff handovers.
  • Teamwork and flexibility: Working closely with your colleagues to provide seamless, high-quality care.

*Overtime is paid for working over full time hours. However, overtime enhancement will not feature on your contract of employment and can be withdrawn at any time as managers decision is final. Free meals are given if working over an 8 hour shift and are subject to terms and conditions. Discounts are accessed using our ‘Reward Me’ app. Flexible pay is available via ‘WAGESTREAM’.
