Nestled in the charming town of Cockermouth and with stunning views of the Lake District fells, 60-bedded Dalton Court offers high-quality, specialist Nursing and Dementia care in a peaceful and picturesque setting. We are proud to also offer palliative and end-of-life care, along with flexible respite stays, tailored to support individuals and families when they need it most. We are looking for caring, compassionate Care Practitioners who will prioritise helping residents retain their independence, pursue individual hobbies and interests, and stay connected to their local communities and loved ones. As a Care Practitioner at our home, your role may involve:
- Completing required training to deliver excellent care
- Assisting residents with personal care and hygiene
- Providing emotional reassurance and companionship as needed
- Promoting a restful, safe environment, tailored to each resident's preferences and abilities
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and care
- Collaborating with the care team to ensure our residents' needs are consistently met
- Promoting and supporting residents' independence wherever possible

*Overtime is paid for working over full-time hours. However, overtime enhancement will not feature on your contract of employment and can be withdrawn at any time as managers' decision is final. Free meals are given if working over an 8-hour shift and are subject to terms and conditions. Discounts are accessed using our Reward Me app. Flexible pay is available via STREAM.
