Manor Park Care Home is a brand-new, purpose-built care facility dedicated to delivering exceptional residential, nursing, and dementia care. We are now recruiting for dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team and help set the standard for cleanliness, comfort, and care from day one.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout residents' rooms, communal areas, and service spaces.
- Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules, ensuring compliance with infection control and health safety standards.
- Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, ironing, and distribution of residents' clothing and linens.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly to the appropriate team.
- Work collaboratively with care and maintenance teams to ensure a seamless and supportive environment.
- Build positive relationships with residents, always respecting their privacy and preferences.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience, ideally in a care home, hotel, or healthcare setting.
- A strong understanding of infection control and hygiene best practices.
- A friendly, respectful, and compassionate approach to working in a care environment.
- Good attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends if required.
