We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated and inspirational Head of Riding to lead and manage the school’s riding provision. Riding is an integral part of school life at Sandroyd, where 50% of pupils receive riding lessons with the 17 ponies living on site. Sandroyd is a registered Pony Club Centre and a licensed riding school. We are members of the NSEA (National Schools Equestrian Association) and our pupils regularly compete at the qualifying competitions and have qualified for the Championships for the last few years. The school’s competition riders regularly achieve team and individual success. The successful candidate will have the highest standards of equine welfare, as well as experience of managing the staffing and facilities of the riding department.
Salary & Benefits
- The salary for this role is between £25,000 - £30,000 depending on agreed work pattern and experience.

- This role is full time, predominantly term time only (Approx. 33 Weeks a Year). There is flexibility in the hours to suit the role and the correct candidate.
