This is a temporary role for 3 - 5 weeks commencing 4 September 2026. This will be based at the Ferryspeed depot, Saint-Sampson. The hours will be 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday (8.30 - 5pm) with one hour unpaid lunch break.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist our team at Matalan Guernsey to prepare for one of the busiest periods of the year, stocktake.
- Assist with scanning and sorting the stock.
- Count and scan stock in an efficient, precise, and accurate manner to ensure that stock levels are captured correctly.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:
- Fully responsible for the use of scanning guns to count and sort stock.
- Help move and lift the stock to a reasonable height for counting.
- The Store Manager will be present for training and support.
- Dress code for the role is casual as the warehouse may be dusty.
