Please make sure you have the correct Right to Work Permissions. Monday - Thursday 6am-10am. Applicants must be 18+ years old. You already know M&S for amazing food and uncompromising quality, but we need to keep on surprising our customers with all the ways we can support them in store – could this be you? You’ll have a positive attitude, always working towards making welcome recommendations and improving sales. There are lots of ways you can discover your potential at M&S. You just must put your all into every moment, for every customer.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that all products are baked to specification
- Ensure that quality bakery products reach customers in the best possible condition
- Make sure that stock is displayed for purchase and that customers know what products and services are on offer
- Cover tills and shop floor as and when required
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Carry out due diligence checks
- Ensure that ticketing including shelf-edge tickets, additive tickets and nut tickets are correctly displayed at all times
- Bake prepared dough in ovens or on grills as needed, depending on the proper baking technique for the item
- Adjust thermostatic controls to regulate the temperature of the oven
- Inspect baked goods to ensure they are of the highest quality and remove any damaged items before they reach the display case
