Site Controller
Mercedes-Benz of Basingstoke
An opportunity has arisen to join us as a Site Controller at Mercedes-Benz of Basingstoke. The Site Controller is responsible for managing the logistics of all new and used vehicles ensuring all vehicles are fully prepped and ready for sale at the earliest opportunity. Assisting a fast turnaround of stock whilst maintaining the site in optimum condition.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
· Keeping the forecourt well presented to facilitate the sale of vehicles.
· To safely store vehicles within designated areas.
· Responsible for ensuring that used cars arriving on site are prepared and ready for sale within 72 hours.
· Liaising with Service/Valeting/Smart repair department and ensuring the prompt turnaround of vehicles.
· Ensuring all vehicles are photographed correctly and on the web within 72 hours
· Responsible for ensuring correct pricing in used cars.
· Responsible for demonstrator/courtesy car fleet in terms of de-fleeting within the company timescales.
· Coordinate the use of parking in our compound.
· Ensuring all Demonstrators and Courtesy vehicles are photographed prior to being handed over to departments or drivers. (Held on file for when vehicle goes up for sale)
· Ensure Company HR policies are followed correctly.
Applicants will be expected to be immaculately attired as is befitting the Mercedes brand and must hold a full Driving Licence.
Experience in a similar role within the Motor Industry is desirable.
Hours of Work: Monday – Friday: 08:30 – 17:00 with a one-hour unpaid lunch break.
