The Sandman Signature Newcastle Hotel is looking to recruit a Night Auditor to join a fantastic team at the 4 star 170 bedroom establishment in Newcastle City Centre. Are you a Night Owl? We are looking for a dynamic, highly flexible personality who strives to exceed customer expectations as well as having a willingness to learn and develop within the hospitality industry.

The hours of work are 32-40 hours per week, working four or five shifts over seven days, with shift start and finish times typically from 22:45 to 07:15, including weekends and bank holidays.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Provide a warm, welcoming and friendly environment
  • Manage guest arrivals and departures
  • Perform cashiering duties
  • Provide guests with information and assistance as required
  • Handle reservations
  • Handle telephone enquiries
  • Assist with luggage
  • Reconcile payments, revenue streams & close business day, and complete all other Night Audit procedures
  • Assist the Night Manager with security and in emergency situations
  • Perform all other duties as directed
