We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable
Hotel Linen Porter to join our team.
As a Linen Porter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and comfort our guests expect.
- Your primary responsibilities will include
- Key Elements of the Role include
- Assessing and maintaining linen stock levels
- Cleaning and maintaining washer and driers
- Washing towels on site and sorting soiled linen to be sent to the linen company
- Delivering linen and stock deliveries to risers on each floor
- Assisting with general cleaning tasks in guest rooms and public areas as needed designated by the manager/supervisor
Successful Candidate will have
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred but not required.
Training will be provided and be flexible to work weekends and bank holidays where applicable
- Part time flexible hours and able to work additional hours if required at short notice
- Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work efficiently and independently
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy loads
- Effective planning
- Good people skills
