Key Responsibilities
- Inspect vehicles before and after service or repair
- Diagnose faults using modern diagnostic equipment
- Complete electronic Vehicle Health Checks (eVHC) with clear recommendations
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards
- Source and manage parts required for repairs
- Conduct final inspections and road tests where appropriate
- Accurately complete repair orders and documentation
- Follow health & safety, legal and company procedures
- Support apprentice technicians and contribute to team development
- Keep skills up to date through ongoing training
Skills & Experience
- Level 3 IMI qualification (or equivalent)
- Full UK driving licence
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic (manufacturer experience desirable)
- Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Customer‑focused, able to explain technical information clearly
- Strong organisation and time management skills
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 1 in 2 or 1 in 3 Saturdays (8:00am–1:00pm) Paid at Overtime
