About the Role – Service Advisor at Nottingham MG
As a Service Advisor, you will be the main point of contact for customers bringing their MG vehicles in for servicing, maintenance, and repairs. You’ll ensure every customer receives a smooth, transparent, and positive experience from start to finish. This is a key customer facing role within our Nottingham MG service department, requiring excellent communication, organisation, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Booking in service and repair work while coordinating workshop and parts availability
- Keeping customers updated throughout their vehicle’s service journey
- Advising customers on additional work when required
- Organising loan vehicles efficiently
- Processing invoices and warranty claims accurately
- Handling customer payments in line with company procedures
- Working towards hours sold targets and maintaining low WIP levels
- Updating and maintaining customer records using our internal systems
- Making follow up calls to ensure customer satisfaction and promote additional services
- Converting inbound and outbound calls into confirmed workshop bookings
What We’re Looking For
