We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Master Technician to join our forward-thinking dealership in Leicester. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified automotive professional to take the lead in diagnosing complex vehicle issues, supporting workshop teams, and delivering exceptional service standards. As a Master Technician / Diagnostic Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining vehicle safety, performance, and customer satisfaction, working with the latest tools and manufacturer technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out advanced diagnostics, fault finding, and repair on a range of vehicles
  • Support and mentor other technicians within the workshop
  • Deliver high-quality work in line with manufacturer and dealership standards
  • Use modern diagnostic equipment to identify complex mechanical and electrical faults
  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and accurately
  • Liaise with Service Advisors and management to communicate repair updates
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant working environment

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a Master Technician / Diagnostic Technician / Senior Vehicle Technician
  • Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair)
  • Strong electrical and diagnostic skills
  • Experience working within a dealership or high-volume workshop
  • A passion for delivering high standards of workmanship
  • Full UK driving licence
