Senior Vehicle Technician / Mechanic – Nottingham Nissan
Sandicliffe is looking for a qualified Motor Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join the team in Nottingham Nissan.
This role involves carrying out diagnostic routines, repairs, and vehicle testing in a professional and safe manner, ensuring all work meets manufacturer and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs to manufacturer and MOT standards.
- Perform electronic visual health checks (e VHC) and provide expert advice to customers.
- Complete pre- and post-service inspections of customer vehicles.
- Procure necessary parts and ensure all work is tested for safety and quality.
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with company policy and industry regulations.
- Comply with Health & Safety legislation and company standards.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up to date with industry advancements.
- Mentor and support apprentices and junior technicians.
Skills And Experience Required
- Level 3 IMI qualified Vehicle Technician (or equivalent).
- Full UK driving licence.
- EV qualification (or willingness to obtain).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- A customer-focused approach, with the ability to communicate technical details to non-technical audiences.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
