About the Role
As a Parts Advisor, you will play a key role in ensuring our technicians, service teams, and customers have access to the right parts at the right time. Working in a fast-paced environment, you'll provide expert advice, manage stock efficiently, and deliver outstanding customer service at every interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Identifying and supplying vehicle parts and accessories accurately and efficiently.
- Providing excellent service to retail, trade, and internal workshop customers.
- Processing parts orders via telephone, email, and in person.
- Managing stock levels, stock control, and inventory processes.
- Receiving, checking, and correctly storing parts deliveries.
- Assisting with parts promotions and upselling relevant products and accessories.
- Maintaining accurate records using manufacturer and dealership systems.
- Supporting the Service and Workshop teams to minimise vehicle downtime.
- Ensuring the parts department remains organised, compliant, and customer-focused.
About You
We welcome applications from candidates of all backgrounds and experiences. You may already be working as a Parts Advisor, Parts Consultant, Automotive Parts Specialist, Parts Controller, or have experience within motor retail, customer service, logistics, warehousing, or automotive aftersales.
To be successful, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience in a Parts Advisor or automotive parts role.
- Knowledge of vehicle parts and automotive aftersales operations.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
- The ability to work effectively in a busy, team-focused environment.
- Good IT skills and experience using stock management systems.
- A proactive and positive approach to problem-solving.
