Sandicliffe is looking for a qualified Motor Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join the team in Nottingham Nissan. This role involves carrying out diagnostic routines, repairs, and vehicle testing in a professional and safe manner, ensuring all work meets manufacturer and industry standards. This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong diagnostic skills and technical expertise who can quickly identify and resolve vehicle issues. EV qualification is required for this role.

Key Responsibilities- Conduct vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs to manufacturer and MOT standards.
- Perform electronic visual health checks (eVHC) and provide expert advice to customers.
- Complete pre- and post-service inspections of customer vehicles.
- Procure necessary parts and ensure all work is tested for safety and quality.
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with company policy and industry regulations.
- Comply with Health & Safety legislation and company standards.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up to date with industry advancements.
- Mentor and support apprentices and junior technicians.
- Level 3 IMI qualified Vehicle Technician (or equivalent).
- Full UK driving licence.
- EV qualification (or willingness to obtain).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- A customer-focused approach, with the ability to communicate technical details to non-technical audiences.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
