At Sandicliffe, we're looking for a motivated and customer-focused MOT Tester to join our successful Loughborough team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced workshop environment and thrives as part of a collaborative team.
As well as carrying out MOT testing to the highest standards, you'll support the wider workshop team with vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair work when MOT appointments are quieter.
Teamwork, flexibility and a willingness to support colleagues are essential to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct MOT tests in line with DVSA standards and regulations.
- Accurately identify and report vehicle defects.
- Complete all MOT documentation and records correctly.
- Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair work when required.
- Support diagnostic activities and fault finding.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to manufacturer standards.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Work collaboratively with fellow technicians, service advisors and management.
- Deliver excellent levels of customer service through high-quality workmanship.
What We're Looking For
- Valid MOT Tester qualification.
- Previous experience as an MOT Tester and Vehicle Technician.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive approach and willingness to support colleagues across the workshop.
