About the role
Sandicliffe Motor Group is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Vehicle Rental Advisor to join our Lincoln team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in vehicle rental, customer service, or automotive administration who is looking to develop their career within a well-established and inclusive organisation.
You will support the Rental Advisors in delivering a seamless, compliant, and customer-first rental experience, ensuring high standards are maintained across all stages of the rental journey.
Key responsibilities
- Support Rental Advisors with daily rental operations, bookings, and vehicle handovers
- Provide a professional, inclusive, and efficient service to customers both in person and remotely
- Prepare rental documentation accurately and in line with company and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate vehicle availability, cleaning schedules, and logistics
- Manage customer queries, extensions, and returns with confidence and attention to detail
- Maintain accurate records using internal systems and rental software
- Ensure compliance with insurance, driving licence checks, and company procedures
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment
About you
We are looking for someone who brings experience, reliability, and a strong customer mindset.
Essential:
- Previous experience in vehicle rental, automotive services, or a customer-facing administrative role
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Confident using digital systems and Microsoft Office
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
- Experience within a dealership, fleet, or mobility services environment
- Knowledge of rental compliance, insurance processes, or vehicle logistics
- Ability to work calmly in a fast-paced setting
