We are seeking an Assistant Picking/ Goods in Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will support the Picking and goods in teams, ensuring accurate picking of customers' orders and quality checking of goods in product. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in a picking and goods in environment. The Assistant Picking /goods in Operative will play a vital part in maintaining high standards of product quality.
Responsibilities
- Assist with picking and packing of customers' orders.
- Assist in booking in products in goods in.
- Handle products safely and efficiently, utilising appropriate equipment such as pallet trucks.
- Maintain stock levels through effective stocking.
- Operate tablet based computer system in goods in.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure items meet company standards in goods in.
- Ensure the workspace remains clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
- Support team members in achieving daily operational targets.
Experience
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of computer systems.
- Experience in picking & packing, or stock management.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail for quality control processes.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.21-£13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
