We are seeking an experienced LAMP Developer for the development of ERP services, features and capabilities for an enterprise-grade network application. This role blends strong LAMP engineering into secure, scalable enterprise environments using cloud platforms like AWS.
The ideal candidate will bring practical development and platform engineering experience to the team to solve emerging engineering challenges.
Key Responsibilities- Design, build and maintain applications enabling secure access, robustness and scalability.
- Produce and keep up-to-date comprehensive documentation.
- Ensure quality assurance is maintained before deployment by adhering to project design criteria.
- Work closely with other Technical Specialists and teams.
- Troubleshoot and optimise performance across distributed systems.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in software development.
- Proficiency in LAMP stack: Excellent understanding of Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP, with hands-on experience in developing and maintaining applications using this stack.
- Strong knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Perl, and expect scripting.
- Proficient in using command-line interfaces (CLI) for software deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Comfortable working in regulated enterprise environments with strict security controls.
- Experience with JavaScript MERN stack development.
- Certification in relevant technologies.
- Proactive self-starter who identifies gaps and drives solutions without waiting for tickets.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous emerging domains where best practice is evolving.
- Collaborative communicator able to influence and gain trust across engineering, data, and product teams.
- Bias toward automating everything to reduce toil and accelerate delivery.
