We have recently partnered with a growing tech organisation, based in York, who are building out a brand new Project Management capability. Within this, they are looking to recruit a Programme Coordinator, as well as other positions. The Programme Coordinator will be instrumental to supporting the delivery of projects and programmes, with a strong focus on governance, risk management, and maintaining project documentation. The role is based in York and is a hybrid role, so 2/3 days in office is the expectation.
What we are looking for:
- Background in public sector, government funded or non-profit environments
- Experience in project/programme coordination or support roles
- Strong organisation, administration, and communication skills
- Familiarity with PRINCE2 or similar methodologies
- Able to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate project and programme activities, schedules, and meetings
- Maintain documentation (plans, RAID logs, reports, minutes)
- Track risks, issues, dependencies, and progress against milestones
- Support reporting, governance, and stakeholder communications
- Liaise with internal teams, partners, and suppliers
- Assist with project closure, audits, and lessons learned
